As of today, we have raised $8,500!!!! Our 1st fundraiser isn't until April 12th, yet we have raised over half of the funds for Dylan's assistance dog! We are still in a state of shock and disbelief, but it is true and words cannot express how grateful we are for the generous hearts that are reaching out and making our family's dream a reality.
Once we have raised the $13,000 needed for the dog, we will concentrate on raising the funds needed to travel to Ohio for the two-week mandatory training session. We anticipate this need to be approximately $4,000. For a breakdown of these expenses, please visit the bottom, right hand portion of the blog. Any additional funds that come in will be put towards another family raising funds for an assistance dog. We are excited to know that we may be able to help another family, just as each of you have helped us! Thank you again for being a part of this amazing journey!

That's awesome! I'm glad I read that article in the newspaper last week; a couple of my classmates have asked me about my speech and Dylan, of course, maybe we'll help out with the fundraiser!
