This past Saturday we hosted Dylan's 1st fundraiser. It was a smashing success and we brought in over $2,000 - and we still need to tally the change! We were also informed that an additional $800 was raised for Dylan by another family, so in the end, we have raised over $3,000. Once all money is received and processed by 4 Paws, we believe we have met our goal of $13,000! When we get the final word, we will be sure to let you all know. Saturday was an AMAZING day and the out pour of support is something we will never forget. Our volunteers went way beyond the call of duty and "Thank You" will never be enough for how each of you have touched our lives, especially Dylan's.
Our fundraising efforts are not over. We must now concentrate on raising the money needed to travel to Ohio for the two week training session, roughly $4,500. Unfortunately, this money is not tax deductible, as it goes directly to us. Towards the bottom of the blog on the right you will find a breakdown of what we need to raise. Please know that any additional funds sent in Dylan's name to 4 Paws will be allocated to another child's dog. While our funding was raised in just 60 days, other families are not as fortunate. Let's see how many dogs we can pay for! Are you up for the challenge?? We are and we hope you will help!
