Today, Dylan & Yoko met for the very 1st time. It has been an amazing, emotional, overwhelming day, but also very exciting. There is so much we want to share, but we are tired, so be patient, dear friends!Yoko is incredibly sweet and loving and she and Dylan are beginning to create a bond that will last for many years too come. Dylan is a great lover of dogs, so the 4 Paws facility was a bit overwhelming for him - he wanted to get to know ALL of the dogs today! This new duo are getting along very well and our finding their way with one another. I just snuck a peak and Dylan is fast asleep with his partner at the foot of the bed.
We are finding our footing in this world of Service Dogs and it is journey, have no doubt about that! The Lord has given us a great gift in Yoko - a precious dog that is patient and enjoys to snuggle.....two things Dylan loves!
